Le Moyne Climbs 10 Spots in Fortune鈥檚 Part-time MBA Rankings; Top Ranked in Upstate New York
In its recently released rankings, Fortune Magazine has聽聽of the best part-time MBA programs for 2022-2023. Housed within the Madden School of Business, the program rose 10 spots from last year and is the top ranked part-time MBA program among upstate New York colleges. There are approximately 1,000 colleges and universities that offer part-time MBA programs in the U.S.
鈥淥ur ongoing efforts to develop a part-time MBA program that reflects the needs and offers the flexibility for current and prospective student continues to pay dividends,鈥� said Madden School Dean Jim Joseph 鈥�83. 鈥淚鈥檓 heartened that Fortune鈥檚 ranking recognizes the quality of our program, our students and our graduates.鈥�

1.聽聽聽聽聽Program score (60%) – average years of work experience, average GMAT score, and average undergraduate GPA of incoming students.
2.聽聽聽聽聽Brand score (25%) – 2,500 professionals were interviewed by Ipsos to produce a school鈥檚 attitudinal equity measurement, which measures how much the group wanted to recruit from the institution.
3.聽聽聽聽聽Fortune聽1000 score (15%) – the number of each school鈥檚 MBA alumni who are executives (C-suite only) at Fortune 1000 companies – the more聽Fortune聽1000 C-level placement, the higher the school鈥檚聽Fortune聽1000 score.
Three new offerings have been added to Le Moyne’s MBA program recently: an MBA in marketing; an MBA in analytics (recently ranked #31 by U.S. News & World Report) and; an MBA in聽leadership. These concentrations were added following extensive study of the marketplace and the skills that employers are seeking.
Other features of the College鈥檚 MBA program are:
- Designed for maximum flexibility and working professionals through face to face, online and hybrid course options.
- Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), an accreditation achieved by only the top 5% of college schools of business worldwide.
- With an eight-week course module for those who want to take the program in an accelerated fashion, the MBA can be completed in one year (full-time study).
- Globally connected through the Jesuit network of over 180 colleges with capstone projects that allow international travel during short term trips abroad.
